Ordering process

Volume Licensing – Open License

      • To open an Open License agreement, it’s needed an initial order for at least any five products in Open License. We can also open an Open License agreement with fewer products, but we need to add an QLFD license in this situation.
      • The payment for the licenses ordered is made up front, when the order is placed.
      • The Open License agreement is available for a period of two years and the on-premise licenses are perpetual.
      • In these two years, if the customer (End User) wants to order any quantity of licenses in Open License, can do this thing under the same authorization number (the number of the agreement).
      • When the agreement reaches its final, if the End User wants to place a new order in Open License for licenses, the same rules from above apply.
      • The on-premise perpetual licenses that are part of the Open License agreement, grant the End User downgrade rights. For example, if the End User buys Office Standard 2019 and wants to use Office Standard 2016, he can do it.

Volume Licensing – OVS:

      • OVS (Open Value Subscription):
      • Open Value Subscription provides the lowest up-front costs of the Open program options with the flexibility to reduce the total licensing costs in years when the desktop PC count declines. This option gives your organization the rights to run the software throughout your organization only during the term of the agreement with Microsoft. You also have the ability to add the single platform option to an Open Value Subscription agreement.
      • How does it work?
      • To open an OVS Agreement, the End User needs to declare all the devices from the company. In this case, for example, if the End User have 100 devices (PCs/laptops), he needs to declare all of them and not just 90, 65 or 7.
      • The OVS Agreement is active for a period of three years, and in each year the End User declares the number of the devices that the company owns. The payment is made separate for every year of the agreement. For the entire period of the OVS agreement, the prices from the first year for the products that were ordered when the agreement was opened, remain the same. To be more specific, in the second and in the third year, will apply the same prices / unit as in the first year of that OVS agreement.
      • For each of the devices that are part of the OVS agreement, the End User needs at least one enterprise product: Windows Enterprise Upgrade, Core CAL, Office Professional Plus 2019 or Office 365 ProPlus. The customer can have two or three of these products as enterprise products at the same time with the mention that he can choose between Office 365 ProPlus or Office Professional Plus 2019.
      • Beside the Enterprise products, the customer may choose any quantity of additional products. For example, here we have: SQL Server, Exchange Server, Office Standard 2019, Office 365 Business Premium etc.
      • At the end of the OVS agreement, the End User can opt for the following options:
      • Renew
      • Buy-out (buys the version of the on-premise products that are available at that time)
      • Drop (if he chooses this option, he needs to uninstall of the licenses that were part of the OVS agreement from the devices the company owns). In this case, he will need to figure out other licensing option).

Volume Licensing – OV Company Wide:

      • OV (Open Value) – Company-Wide:
      • The OV agreement is similar with the OVS agreement until a point.
      • First, to open an OV agreement company-wide, the End User needs at least five devices (PCs/laptops). If the End User it has more than five devices, all of them are needed to be included in the OV agreement.
      • The OV Agreement is active for a period of three years, and in each year the End User declares the number of the devices that the company owns. The payment is made separate for every year of the agreement. For the entire period of the OV agreement, the prices from the first year for the products that were ordered when the agreement was opened, remain the same. To be more specific, in the second and in the third year, will apply the same prices / unit as in the first year of that OV agreement.
      • If new products are added in the second or third year, the payment for these products will be made at the prices that are available at the time the products are added.
      • For all of the devices that the customer has and are included in the OV agreement, the End User needs to choose at least one Enterprise product (Windows Enterprise Upgrade, Core CAL, Office Professional Plus 2019 or Office 365 ProPlus).
      • At the end of the OV agreement, the licenses remain to the End User and he has the possibility to renew the SA (Software Assurance) for them by opening a new OV agreement.

Volume Licensing – OV Non-Company Wide:

      • OV (Open Value) – Non-Company-Wide:
      • If the End User chooses this option, he can open an OV agreement for at least five products. For this option the rule that the End User should enroll of the devices in the agreement, does not apply.
      • At the end of the OV agreement, the licenses remain to the End User and he has the possibility to renew the SA (Software Assurance) for them by opening a new OV agreement.

Volume Licensing – Mandatory details for order

      • For placing a Volume Licensing order, first of all we need to know if the End User is from Public Sector (State owned companies, Public schools etc.) or from Private Sector (private company).
      • If the End User is from Public Sector, he needs to send to the Reseller a document in an unchangeable format in which he needs to mention at least the product, quantity, price and the date. The document needs to be signed and stamped. If this is not possible, it is also accepted an e-mail send by the End User to the Reseller in which he needs to mention at least the product, quantity, price and date. The e-mail is needed to be send from the official e-mail address (with domain) of the End User. Are not accepted the e-mails send from Yahoo!, Gmail, Outlook.com or any other free e-mail service.
      • If the End User is from the Private Sector (private company), for the order, the Reseller needs to send us an e-mail in which he needs to mention at least the product, quantity, price and date.
